QUICK BIO: Being born into a family of traveling scientists, he has worked in the wilds of Africa from a very early age. After working several years with his brother in the deep jungle collecting specimens for return and research to the central facility, he was driven out after the rest of the scientists were massacred by an unknown force. Confused and barely alive, he was discovered by an Open Sky rescue crew that had picked up his facility's distress call and quickly joined their force in order to try and find out who exactly attacked them. After many years of searching and fighting to defend the lands, he was eventually separated from his squad again, left to wander the deserts alone and attempt to survive. After encountering Shalie in a similarly dire situation, and some initial mis-understanding, the two eventually recognized each other as benign entities and stayed together to survive the night. Though they parted the next morning, a bond of friendship formed in a survival situation is one that doesn't break easily, and Norris eventually sought her out again after leaving Open Sky and deciding to resume his work on the scientific front.
